TIA is not considered stroke<\/li>\n<li>coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)<\/li>\n<li>Peripheral arterial disease, lower extremity (PAD)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>OR<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Are you 55 or older with one or more:\n<ul>\n<li>Coronary Artery Disease<\/li>\n<li>Peripheral arterial disease (PAD)<\/li>\n<li>Known familial hypercholesterolemia (either by diagnosis or LDL \u2265 100 mg\/dL while on lipid-lowering medication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>OR<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Are you 70 years or older (females) or 65 years or older male with three of the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Current tobacco use<\/li>\n<li>High blood pressure<\/li>\n<li>Kidney disease<\/li>\n<li>Diabetes<\/li>\n<li>Family history of premature cardiovascular events (heart attack or coronary bypass surgery in father or brother younger tha 55; heart attack or coronary bypass surgery in mother or sister younger than 60)<\/li>\n<li>Coronary Artery Calcium (CAC) score\n<ul>\n<li>\u2265300 for anyone<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u2265100 for individuals assigned female at birth &lt; 65 years of age<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>High cholesterol<\/li>\n<li>LDL-cholesterol \u2265 100 mg\/dL (2.59 mmol\/L), on maximally tolerated lipid-lowering therapy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note additional criteria may apply<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":1919,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"template":"","city":[31],"indication":[86],"therapeutic_area":[],"class_list":["post-2105","studies","type-studies","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","city-bowie","indication-cardiovascular"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Cardiovascular - Lp(a) Study - Flourish Research<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/flourishresearch.com\/studies\/cardiovascular-lpa-study-bo\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_US\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"Cardiovascular - Lp(a) Study - Flourish Research\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"Have a hidden genetic biomarker?
